Why motion holds attention.
A page of text asks the reader to do all the work, and a static slide deck loses the room by the third slide. When a scene builds itself over a few seconds, people wait to see what appears next, and that small wait is what keeps them watching. A diagram can assemble one piece at a time, a scene change can mark a new idea. Good text to animation uses movement for meaning rather than decoration.
